The Army Painter - Purple Alchemy - Speedpaint
Introduction
Designed with the hobby community, Speedpaint now features 90 colors, industry-first one-coat metallics, and an advanced formulation for painters of all skill levels.
Description
The Army Painter - Purple Alchemy - Speedpaint is an 18ml water-based acrylic paint specifically formulated for miniature painting, offering a fast, one-coat solution combining base color, shading, and highlights in a single application. It flows consistently over miniatures, providing vibrant color, rich shading, and natural highlights without the need for multiple layers. Developed with input from the hobby community, the Speedpaint line includes 90 colors and innovative one-coat metallics, aimed at delivering quick, high-quality results suitable for beginners and experienced painters alike. The paint comes in an 18ml spill-free dropper bottle with 2 steel mixing balls inside to ensure paint consistency. It is recommended to shake the bottle thoroughly before use and apply generously over a white or appropriate colored primer to create intense shading effects.
Additional Information
Best results are achieved using primers such as Colour Primer Matt White, Brainmatter Beige, or Ash Grey, but experimenting with other primers like Necrotic Flesh, Skeleton Bone, or Gun Metal can create unique effects. Use a hard palette to prevent paint bleeding, and once the paint has dried, it allows for quick highlighting using acrylic paints, speeding up the entire miniature painting process.
