The Army Painter - Leafy Green - Warpaints Fanatic
Introduction
The Army Painter - Leafy Green - Warpaints Fanatic is a high-quality acrylic paint specifically designed for miniature painting and modeling. It is part of the Warpaints Fanatic range, known for intense pigmentation, unsurpassed coverage, and smooth application, while maintaining ease of use for painters of all skill levels—from beginners to professionals.
Description
This paint is formulated with a premium resin base combined with proprietary stabilizers, allowing it to be thinned down to extreme levels without losing pigment dispersion, which ensures consistent color and smooth layering.
Color Characteristics:
- Leafy Green is described as a yellowish green, making it a vibrant green excellent for base coating or highlighting.
- It is the second-darkest tone in the "Vibrant Greens" segment of the Flexible Colour Triad System developed by The Army Painter. This system groups colors into families based on the same root color, providing six shades from dark to light within each triad, facilitating natural and cohesive color progression for miniature painting.
Additional Information
- Suitable for layering, basecoating, or highlighting miniatures.
- Compatible with multiple miniature materials including plastic, resin, and metal.
- Works well with brushes and wet palettes for flexible painting techniques.
- Recommended preparation before use includes shaking the bottle thoroughly (about 30 seconds) and testing consistency, repeating until the pigment is evenly mixed.
The Warpaints Fanatic line incorporates a 3-in-1 Colour Primer concept—each product acts as a durable primer, a highly pigmented basecoat, and dries quickly while preserving miniature details.
The paint is offered in an 18ml bottle, suitable for both hobbyists and professional painters.
